One free copy of the Florence Township Zoning Resolutions is available to persons owning property within the township. These books are available at the township office.
A Zoning Board consisting of five individuals and one alternate, all who are residents of Florence Township. They are responsible for creating new and or modifying existing Zoning Resolutions to be approved by the Trustees.
A Zoning Board of Appeals, also consisting of five individuals and one alternate, all who are residents of Florence Township. They are responsible for approving or denying zoning variances requested within the township.

The Zoning Inspector is responsible for interpreting the meaning and application of the current zoning resolutions, issuing permits, investigating violations to the resolutions and taking action to resolve such violations.
