Established in 1817, Florence Township is one of nine townships located in Erie County, Ohio. To the east is the town of Birmingham and to the west is the town of Florence. Florence Township covers an area of 26.5 square miles with 29.5 miles of roads, and a population of 2,500+. Also located in Florence Township are Schoepfle Arboretum, Girl Scouts’ Camp Timberlane, and the Vermilion River.

We have a new red drop box for documents at Florence Township Hall. It’s on the side of the large parcel drop box at the front door.
A U.S. Postal Service mailbox is now located at the Township Hall.
